Meeting in high school, Brent and Mary Ann began skiing together and later attended the same university. Their plan to work together evolved, with Mary Ann studying Interior Design and Brent, Civil Engineering/ Industrial Construction Management.

After graduating from CSU, Brent worked for a general contractor who built premier homes in Fort Collins, CO. The company was also a land developer and started a multi-unit development, for which Mary Ann became the interior designer. Mary Ann also worked for commercial and residential architects. Seven years later, the dream of merging talents formally began in 1992, when their first construction company was formed. Thirty-two years later, it has matured and developed, specializing in comprehensive services for the custom residential market.

We invite you to review a sampling of our projects and learn more about our company. Should you be considering a new construction project, it would be a pleasure to discuss how our services and experience could benefit you. For over twenty years in the Vail and Roaring Fork valleys, our specialty has been providing our clients with a professional and personally rewarding construction process.

To give you a brief background, Brent has been involved in the building profession since 1977 and has been personally responsible for construction projects ranging from elaborate custom homes to multi-story offices, restaurants, and medical buildings.

Through hard work and determination, Brent established himself in the construction industry after financing his way through college, framing homes, and receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University. Mary Ann also received her degree from CSU and has been responsible for projects ranging from commercial and office interiors to elaborate custom residential architectural, lighting, and interior design through her own company and as a designer for commercial and residential architectural firms.

Most of our past projects have been primary residences in which lasting client relationships were developed.  We are confident that the ultimate success of a residential project is based on the key elements of teamwork, communication, personalization, enthusiasm, and devotion to the project. Please be assured that your best interests are paramount and that you and your project will receive unconditional attention.

It would be a pleasure to discuss and expand on our capabilities to benefit your project. We invite you to review our resumes and sample photos, and we would insist on speaking with our references. We are confident of gaining your view as a value to your project and the benefits of taking advantage of our services.

About Mary Ann

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Interior Design

  • Projects featured in: Timber Frame Magazine, Mountain Living Magazine, Robb Report

  • Balances aesthetics, function, and financial parameters

  • Specializing in orchestrating subcontractors with product and installation supervision.

  • I specialize in interior architectural design – space planning, elevations, tile layouts, and technically detailed specifications from which the general contractor and subcontractors can order.

  • Specifications that include a comprehensive cost breakdown down to the smallest components. For example: technical lighting design. In this manner, general contractors can more precisely provide their cost breakdown to clients, determine a budget, and/or value engineer a project.

  • Providing creative design solutions that are original and not copied from website sources or magazines.

  • Specifying materials that are original and not tied to one supplier, compiling contacts over the last 30 years in diverse locations.

  • Providing complete specifications allows for truly competitive bids, as opposed to having suppliers and subcontractors provide submittals, which is typical of design-build and compromises the ability to solicit multiple pricing scenarios.

  • In residential design, changes are often inevitable; being very accustomed to this and patiently guiding clients through has earned me complete trust and premiere relationships with clients. This is one of the greatest rewards that I enjoy about residential design compared to commercial design.
